Many Student taken Science stream after 10th, but they don’t know various career option except Doctor & Engineering.
For that reason many student stuck after 12th, because they don’t know other career option and all student try to fight NEET & JEE exams but few students are selected.
Student who had not selected or other student who do not fight for Medical (NEET) & Engineer (JEE) are stuck that point of time, Many of them apply in private collages, other join their father business.
But in actual science stream have very wide career option, and today we will take about all those career options.

Doctor
Becoming a doctor is the aspiration of a lot of students. Doctor’s profession lets the candidates enjoy a prestigious social and professional life being able to serve a lot of people as well as make a lucrative income.
For become a doctor first he/she should give NEET entrance exam after selection in NEET entrance exam. ranking in the NEET examination decides which colleges you can join.
If you wish to specialize in fields like Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani, there are special courses you can do during your graduation.
Engineering
Becoming a engineer is goal of many student, An engineering degree is the key to a whole new range of careers in technologies like AI, blockchain and automation. Even then, traditional fields like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical Engineering continue to be top draws in the job market. No wonder, getting an engineering degree is a dream for many.
Eligibility:-
You need to pass the Class XII board or an equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as compulsory subjects. A minimum of 75% aggregate marks is needed to be eligible for admission to IITs, NITs and GFTIs through JEE Main and you will get only two chance to attempt.

Air force officer
It is a very diverse and exciting career.
Eligibility to become Air Force Officer
Career Path – I
The first way is to join National Defence Academy, Pune which mainly trains cadets in three services. To get through NDA a competitive examination is held twice a year i.e. in February and September. Only unmarried male candidates till 19 years of age can apply for the same. They should be class 12th pass or equivalent examination with physics and maths as mandatory subjects.
National Defence Academy, Pune, trains cadets for the 3 services. A competitive examination is held twice in a year, in February & September, for a 3-year training course commencing in January and July. Only unmarried male candidates age between 16 1/2 and 191/2 years are eligible with Physics & Maths.
Career Path: 2
Both male and female candidates can apply for the same between 20-24 years of age. They are required to pass NCC Air Wing Senior div C Certificate. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognised university.
Career Path:3
Short Service Commission is for the candidates who wish to become the technical officers in the Air Force. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any field and must have cleared the AFCAT examination. Both male and female candidates between 20-24 years of age can apply.
Navy Officer
A Navy officer is employed by the United States government to assist with defending and protecting the country from threats. They may carry out a variety of responsibilities such as directing the engineering of improved submarine, ship or aviation fleet technology, processing signal intelligence, leading platoons in combat missions, directing ship crews or overseeing the care of injured patients as a director in the nurse corps.
Eligibility to become Navy Officer
Career Path – I
- 10+2 graduates aged 16.5 – 19 years (inclusive).
- Unmarried male (Tech Cadet).
- Applicant for the post of Officer in the Electrical/ Marine Engineering /Architect after 10+2 [(Tech) Cadet Entry] should have passed Class 12th or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with an aggregate of at least 75% in PCM and 50% marks in English either in 10th or 10+2 from a recognized board of school education.
Architect
Architecture is a culmination of art, science, and the ability to manage the construction of a building. Architects are in charge of designing homes, office spaces, educational institutions, and many more artificial marvels that we see today. Architecture courses after 12th in India mainly focus on developing the skills needed to become an architect.
Eligibility to become architect
- Candidates must possess 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level or equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level.
- Candidates seeking admission to B. Arch.
- 10th+3 years Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregates marks.
Software Designing
If your interest lies in making innovative programs, software, and apps that make life and processes easier for people. Then this one’s for you. Similar to the professions mentioned above, software designing and development also involves advanced knowledge of computer programs and languages.
A highly creative field, software designing can enable you to let your imagination flow freely to create useful software for individuals and companies. Through this vocation can be pursued by graduates from other fields as well, a degree in science is preferred.
Spacetech
While being a doctor, engineer, biologist, pharmacist, are some undisputed career options for science students, the interest in the sciences of space is also slowly rising in young adults. Nevertheless, now with technology becoming integrated with almost every field of study, space tech is surely gaining momentum.
Space tech basically is the application of digitization and technology to create tools and machines that can be used in operations related to outer space and the solar system. Space technicians create vehicles, machines, and other tools that help scientists research outer space better.
