Career Planning is very fascinated word, Many people ask to students “what is your career planning. What will you do in your career? But no one teach how to do career Planning, how to choose career. So today we will try to discuss how to do career planning.
In every one life three moments come where people, friends or relative ask What Next.
First moment come when you complete your 10th board, that time every one asks “Beta What next”, which stream will you choose.
Second moment come when you complete your 12th board again every one ask “Beta What next”.
Third moment come when you complete your professional degree or graduation once again every ask “Beta What Next”.
In the all the three situation students feel confuse how they choose their next best career path but they don’t get answer of this question easily. then at last when they don’t have any other option, Then they take decision on the basis of parents, peer advise or influence. After few years of their career they realize, what they are doing is not their cup of tea or they don’t feel happy with their profession.

Introspect yourself
First and most important question arise how to introspect myself.
Introspection is very detail process, but we will initiate this process with SWOT analysis.
SWOT analysis is a concept where we try to find our S – Strength, W – Weakness, O – Opportunities, T – Threats.
With the help of this excises, we know our strengths so we can use those strengths for our career planning and when we know our weakness than we can work on them so we can overcome from them.
Collect detail information about what do you want to do
You should collect detail information about that course or field where you want to go. For that you can ask from your seniors, friends, google or from other sources about that course, about that field.
What are resources available?
Question from yourself. What resources have you, can you afford that money or time. This is very practical question. Many times people choose that career option which they can not afford in money or time prospective so we should be think before going in that field.
How much scope in that field?
This is very obvious question you should be know before going in to that field. How much scope in that field in new future? because you are investing your time & money so you should be receive equal or more ROI (return of Investment) from that career.
How to find goal/ purpose of life
This is a question every one tries to find out in their life. So today we will try to find out answer of this question with the concept “Ikigai”. It is Japanese concept which will helpful you to find out answer your all question about purpose of life.

Ikigai ask four questions from you.
- What you love
- What you are good at
- What you can be paid for
- What the world needs
When you find out all this question answer than you will get answer “what is purpose of your life”.
What will happen when two circle intersect each other.
If you love dancing or you are good in dancing but other 2 circle are not fulfilling than it is your passion. but you can’t earn from that or world also does not have need.
if you good in finance or people paid for this but other 2 circle are not fulfilling than it is your profession and most of people are stuck in this situation.
If people paid for doing something or world need this but you don’t love or good in this than that is your Vocation. you are doing only for fulfilling your basic needs.
Or if you love helping others or doing social work and world also require that than it is your mission.
What will happen when three circle intersect each other.
When you love dancing or you good in dancing and people pay for this but world does not require this field than you feel satisfied but useless what you are doing.
When you good in finance or you get good money and world also need this but you don’t love this than you feel comfortable but emptiness.
When you love teaching or you get money also and world also need this but you are not good in this than you feel Excitement and complacency but sense of uncertainty.
When you love guide to other, you good in this and world also need this but you don’t get money than you feel delight and fullness but no wealth.
